All I want for christmas is you

Well, is official, it is impossible escape from the Christmas influence, it's everywhere, even in the most innocents places, like in the local supermarket, annoying carols sounding loud through the speakers, all day long, terrorizing the poor cashiers, big posters along the road announcing the best/cheapest places where to buy toys for kids (I'm surprise how we, as kids, could believe in something call Santa Claus with all that signs around), little colorfull lights in blue and golden splashing the dark sky and, here in Slovenia, hundred of wood booths with "kuhano vino" (hot wine) and  ice rinks invading the city center during all December's month.

Nothing to say about the big comercial centers, with their animations for children and crowds running from shop to shop looking for the perfect gift, and if we, spanish, thought that two gift times (Papa Noel and Reyes Magos) is too much....watch out with Slovenia!! here is three much!

- 6th December----Miklavz (Russian heritage)
-25th December---- Santa Claus (American stuff)
-31th December----- Dedek Mraz (For Yugoslavia's nostalgics)

So here we are, in the damn middle europe, feeling as Arnold Schwarzenegger in that 90's movie "Jingle all the way" (Un padre en apuros) as soon as we step in... let me say BTC (the biggest comercial center in Ljubljana).

So I just have decided spend this commercial parody of  pre-Christmas time in my bunker, eating chocolat, drinking tea and watching old movies, like "Singin' in the rain"; "Double Indemnity"; "Sabrina" or "The Postman always rings twice".
With no more decoration than my wet clothes holding all around the room with the electric heater in the middle drying them and heating my feet. Only peeping my head out  here to go to work.

And then when that "important/special" days just will be over our heads, wear a nice dress, hold two crystal champagne cups ( with cider inside them, ofc, champagne puaaah!!) and create our own, tailor-made, Christmas time :) That's everything I wanna.... No more, no less.
